I don’t know if any of the family will see this since it’s been so many years..I worked with Ms. Ruby at Penland Hall for abiout 5 years, we worked side by side as cashiers, during those years we learn a lot about each other’s lives and I developed a strong bond with Ms. Ruby, in fact when I had decided that I was going to do foster care, she was one of the ones who I was fortunate enough to have for a reference, she came out to my home and met my family and I had respected her since that time, she shared with me her many train trips to different areas and I enjoyed going down memory lane with her, I was younger than she so she gave me a lot of tips of what laid ahead in life and I must say she was correct, when I left Baylor to go to nursing school I would still stay in touch with Ms. Ruby from time to time, I am so sad that I didn’t know that she had passed, I would have been there if I had known, I offer my belated heartfelt condolences to the family and may GOD bless and keep you.
