Gary Wayne Sanders of Elm Mott passed away at his home late Friday evening or early Saturday morning at the age of 45. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 8, in Ross, Texas at Warrior Heart Ministries, 717 East White Oak Road. A simple meal will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, friends and family are asked to make donations for a college benefit fund for Gary’s 10 year old son. Donations can be made in Gary’s name to the ministry and will go to an account that will be set up as a college fund.
Gary Sanders was born September 15th 1971 to Carl Wayne and Marian Arlene (Price) Sanders of West, Texas. Gary attended school in Connally and graduated in 1991. He served two terms in the US Army from 1991 to 1998 and was honorably discharged. A member of Warrior Heart Ministries, Gary loved his family and he loved the Lord.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Barbra Sanders, his sons Dalton Wilkirson and Ethan Jack Sanders, his sister and sister-in-law Carla and Kimmie Lynch, his sister April Sanders, nephews Chance Richards and Honor Sanders, and niece Hope Sanders-Garcia, sister Amy Sanders McWhirter and brother-in-law Chuck, nephews Liam McWhirter and Aiden McWhirter and niece Marian Castro.
