Claudia K. Bell Jan. 17, 1920 – Nov. 7, 2017 Claudia K. Bell, 97, of Crawford, widow of Col. R.L. (Lucky) Bell, passed away November 7, 2017. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Claudia was born Jan. 17, 1920 in Crawford to Claude and Radie (Hall) Knight. She was married September 26, 1941, and lived her life as a devoted Air Force wife accompanying her husband to assignments around the world. No matter where they lived, she quickly made it a loving home for her family. Going to see her was going home even for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert D. (Skip) Bell, and her son-in-law, Donnie Pickard. Claudia is survived by two daughters, Karen Pickard of Ovilla and Cinda Dubbs and her husband, William Dubbs, of Fulshear, Texas; grandchildren, David Miller, Courtney Dubbs Stubblefield, Heather Dubbs Douglas, and Michael Bell; great-grandchildren, Jacob Dubbs Stubblefield, Phoebe Stubblefield, Sydney Douglas, Jack Douglas, Ellie Douglas, Alyssa Bell, and Vivienne Bell.
